Gettin' My Book On!!!!!

OK! Don't tell Mommy but I can totally read books all by myself! I just like to have her read them because she uses silly voices. It's also fun to see how many times I can get her to read the same book in a row! :)

The book that I'm reading now is all about what it is like to be a big sister and what it's like to have a baby brother. It sounds like a lot of work to me and I'm not sure if I want to share Daddy and Mommy with a brother! I decided to give it a chance though. It might be cool to have someone smaller than me to be the boss of! After my baby brother gets here, I figure if I'm not digging the whole big sister scene, I can always get Mommy to send him back!

Christmas = Cool!!!!!

OK, so I totally should have posted my Christmas blog post, like 5 days ago but I've been really busy playing with all of my Christmas loot!!!

Mommy, Daddy, and I decorated our Christmas tree on Christmas Eve. Mommy can barely move because of my stupid baby brother so she mostly sat on the couch and showed me where to put the ornaments. I was super helpful. As soon as I put an ornament on the tree, I would take it back off and give it back to Mommy. I'm sure that is exactly what she wanted me to do!
Yeah!!! Christmas morning!!!! Hmmmm...all of these pretty boxes where NOT under my tree last night!

Presents for me!!!! This totally rocks!

More awesome stuff! I'm going to make Daddy leave the Christmas tree up all year. That way, I'll have new presents under it every morning when I wake up!

Christmas was totally choice and fun!! Thank you, everyone for all of the great presents!

My First Christmas Present for 2009!!!!!!

My daddy's friend, Mr. Dan, came over to play video games with Daddy. Mr Dan is the daddy of my BFFs, Kama and Katie, and they sent me over a Christmas present with Mr. Dan. It was super awesome of them and I can't wait until I can give them their presents! Anyway, I wasn't sure what was going on at first. I thought that the present was a pillow so I sat on it but it was really hard and it jabbed me on the bum!

Mommy made a little tear in the wrapping to show me that there was something really cool inside...presents are definitely better than pillows!

WOW!!!!!!!! There's a toy in here! Let me at it!!!!!!

It's a turtle!!! It sings and talks and plays music and teaches me my letters and numbers and shapes and it is the coolest toy that was ever made in the history of the universe!!

Preparing for Uncle Nick's Visit

My Uncle Nick is going to come visit soon!!!! He's coming to see me for Christmas! I love my Uncle Nick.

Whenever he comes to visit, he and Daddy hang out and act silly. It's super fun!!! One of them usually ends up on the couch, looking like this. I'm practicing now so that I can hang out with them when I get bigger!!!

It's Time to Make the Cookies!!!!!

OK. Mommy really likes chocolate chip cookies but she doesn't feel well and she is too gimpy to bake them herself, so I decided I'd do her a solid. I'm not exactly sure how this works but I saw Ina Garten do this on the Food Network, so I'm sure that I can figure it out.
I'm not sure about baking but making a mess sure is fun!

Maybe I'll just throw all of the dough in the oven at once and make Mommy one super ginormous cookie. That would HAVE to make her feel better!!!

I decided to wear my hat today! It goes really well with my pants and shoes. I definitely know how to accessorize!! Speaking of accessories...DADDY!!! A diamond tennis bracelet would look totally choice with this outfit!!!!
Plus, since I'm almost bald, I don't have to worry about hat-hair!!!

Having a cold is total B.S.!!!!

I feel like poop. My nose is stuffy and I keep coughing! I really don't feel like playing or eating. Seriously! Me, not feeling like eating! This is madness!

My New Shoes

Mommy, cousin Dan, and I went shopping yesterday. We went to one of my favorite stores! All it has are shoes!!! Hundreds of shoes for me to choose from!!!
Mommy bought these shoes without even asking me! She even tried them on herself instead of me! Mommy hasn't been sleeping well lately and she's been a little loopy so I figured that it was just a mistake. I mean, it isn't like we're going to go to a shoe store and NOT buy me shoes!!! I think these shoes are cute and they are warm and fuzzy but they are so big and heavy that I can't even lift my feet!

Seriously, Mommy!!! Why did you get me such big shoes?!?!?!? I know that you like to buy me things that I can 'grow into' but this is a bit ridiculous! It will be another 15 years before I can wear these things!

Whew! I gotta sit down and rest for a minute. Lugging these things around is hard work!

Fat Guy in a Little Coat...

What the...!?!?!?!? So, let me get this straight! I was doing a little internet research on Christmas. Sometime during the night, a fat guy in a red suit is supposed to sneak down our chimney???? I don't think so!!!! Hasn't Santa heard of a little something called 'breaking and entering?'
I'm going to stay up all night and guard our fireplace. I have a little surprise planned for our horizontally and fashion challenged friend.
If I see even a hint of a snowy, white beard or jolly, red cheeks....SMASH-O!!!! I'm biffing him right on the skull with a snowball!!!!
Hmmm....unless of course he brings me a super awesome present! This box looks just the right size for those Louboutin snakeskin pumps that I've had my eye on...

Getting My Turkey On!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! It was a cool day. Mostly because Daddy didn't have to go to work. I love it when Daddy stays home just to play with me!!!!

I spent the morning playing with my toys and folding myself in half! ;) Mommy said that on Thanksgiving, you are supposed to stop and think about all of the things that you are thankful for.

I am thankful for all kinds of things. My blocks, my Gee-gee, my books and letters, bacon, apricot/mango juice, bananas, Daddy and Mommy...but mostly I'm thankful for my Nyxi!

We then had Thanksgiving dinner. I got to eat turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. Everything was YUM-O!!!!! (except for the cauliflower....bleh!)

A Present for Daddy!

I'm Ready for My Close Up!

Mommy and I are going to get my Christmas pictures done tonday. This is my new Christmas dress. I picked it out myself. Mommy wanted to get me one that was all lacey and poofy! Sheesh! It's a good thing that I was with her to put the kibosh on that!
I mean, seriously! I look totally choice. Plus, this dress totally goes with my new Coach purse and Isabella Fiore shoes!

It's just too bad that these tights give me seriously severe wegies!!!!!!

My New Hat

Seriously. I look pretty sweet. Mommy said that we might go shopping after my nap so I wanted to try out my new hat and gloves.
It's pretty warm with my hat and gloves on in the house but I look so good that I don't want to take them off!

Moving Day!

I'm moving into my new big girl room today!!! I'm a little scared about it but it's a really super sweet room. Mommy spent a ton of time decorating it. I helped by getting in her way, tearing up paper all over the floor, and stealing the tape whenever she was hanging stuff up! :) I just don't know how she got stuff done before I came along!!!! These are all of the decorations above my new big girl bed. I don't sleep in it yet though. Mommy and Pap pap moved my crib into my new room for now. Daddy and I think that I'm ready for my big girl bed but Mommy worries too much. Daddy and I let it go because we know it's just because she loves me!!!

This is a picture of me right after I woke up from my nap. It was my first nap in my new room and Mommy said that I did a really good job. I didn't fuss at all! Well, two things that I'm really good at are eating and sleeping!!!!!

These are the tons of butterflies that Mommy put around my windows. They're really pretty and I like to look at them. Mommy spent a lot of time sticking them to the wall. This is when I helped the most by stealing the tape and hiding it when she wasn't looking! ;)

Playing at the Park

We went to the park on Friday!!! It was totally choice. I ran and ran and ran and played with other small people. I ran across this bridge 3 or 4 hundred times....

Then I played in the dirt. I play in the dirt at home but there is something special about park dirt.

Then, they have these things called 'slides.' They are super fun. You are actually allowed to climb up them and then you can slide to the bottom and do it all over again and again and again.........................and again.

Super awesome!!!!!

Andy Reid: Man or Walrus??? You make the call!

I don't like it when the Steeler play on Monday night!!!! I have to go to bed before the game even starts!! That's total B.S.!!! Mommy said that she would DVR the game for me and that I could sleep in my Steeler's onesie...so I guess that is OK. I mean, they're playing the Broncos so it's not like I'm worried about them losing or anything.

I did get to watch the very beginning of the Cowboy's / Eagle's game last night. Bleh. It might have been the first time that I really wanted BOTH teams to lose! I also decided that Andy Reid freaks me the heck out!! He just really, REALLY looks like a walrus!!!!
